People
Our network is personal, people-centered and individual. Here, some people have their say. They describe the benefits they see for their daily work by actively participating in NIRO.
Our company claim is "team made", which for us means that everything we do is a joint success. And so we also believe that positive effects can be achieved for everyone involved in a network team. We have interesting contacts with whom we can discuss both the big issues and the small challenges. We see external impulses as broadening and enriching our horizons. We learn from the experiences of other network participants and can share our findings.
Dr. Hans Dieter Storzer, Geschäftsführer CTO, EBG electro GmbH
The member companies in this network share many values, which also form a very large part of our corporate philosophy: On the one hand, this is our commitment to our region, which is constantly changing and is constantly confronted with change. This also includes preserving tradition without remaining stuck in the past. With innovations and new, fresh ideas, we remain fit for the future. This is reflected in our network. At a wide variety of events and activities, the varied, trusting and personal exchange is valuable and provides new impetus.
Matthias Schmitz, Geschäftsführender Gesellschafter SCHMITZ medical GmbH und NIRO-Vorstandsmitglied
Small and medium-sized companies have joined forces in the NIRO network in order to be able to respond even better to the demands of the global market through cooperation. The majority of these companies are already market and innovation leaders and are well positioned internationally. Nevertheless, the market leaders have also recognized the advantages of network cooperation: Sharing experience and building relationships based on trust pay off.
Detlev Höhner, Geschäftsführer, Murtfeldt Kunststoffe GmbH & Co. KG
NIRO offers us a space in which we, as companies of different sizes, can learn from each other, cooperate with each other and jointly develop innovative solutions for the demands of the modern working world. One of the biggest challenges of our time is the shortage of skilled workers and the promotion of our employees' ability to develop within the company. I do not face this task alone in the network and can rethink, discuss and develop ideas and strategies in a joint exchange. The NIRO Academy offers needs-oriented training formats such as "NIRO Talente PLUS", in which employees can work on their personal strengths regardless of their qualifications and position. Funded projects also provide regular impetus and support. These unique selling points contribute to enormous benefits both for employees and for us as a company.
Alexandra Edelhoff, Leiterin Personalmanagement, Diagramm Halbach GmbH & Co. KG
At NIRO, we purchase indirect materials and energy together. The same conditions and contractual terms apply to all members. By pooling requirements, the negotiating groups, which are made up of purchasing managers from the member companies, have a good basis for negotiating with suppliers. Through higher volumes, we achieve negotiation successes together and benefit as a company from noticeable effects. Suppliers benefit from a reliable and attractive customer pool with high sales potential. In addition to the attractive framework agreements, at NIRO I value the trusting exchange with other people in the network on purchasing-related topics.
Sascha Scharne, Einkauf, Gruppenleiter Investitions- und Dienstleistungseinkauf ERCO GmbH
It is very important for us to establish personal contacts with experts from other companies in order to exchange experiences directly and obtain recommendations for working on our own tasks. For example, at the meetings of the Shipping, Foreign Trade and Logistics working group, companies give each other recommendations for action on company-specific issues. We have the experts in the network.
Thomas Voigt, Leiter Logistik, Stromag GmbH
