After the kick-off workshop for our AI journey at JUNG in Schalksmühle at the beginning of February, we visited our member company Wilo in Dortmund on April 8, 2025. The focus there was on three specific AI applications that Wilo uses.

On April 2, 2025, we visited Phoenix Contact Deutschland GmbH in neighboring East Westphalia-Lippe to find out more about how sustainability is consistently becoming part of everyday life there with an automated energy management system.

A veteran of our network work is entering its 15th year: participants of the Working Group Shipping, Foreign Trade and Logistics (VAL for short) met on March 5, 2025 in our port room to review the past years and discuss current topics.

The “Made in Westphalia” series, which has been taking us to interesting production companies in our region in cooperation with the SIHK since 2024, continued. The first visit in 2025 was to our member company SCHMITZ medical GmbH in Bönen.
