The invitation to the workshop “AI in the everyday office life of management assistants – Dive into the future with us” was written by ChatGPT in line with the topic – and the morning also focused on artificial intelligence (AI) with its use cases, which can actively save time in the assistant’s job when managing emails, in event management or in many other areas. After a brief round of introductions, the speaker Carolin Feth gave an overview of the development of AI and presented some important services. It became clear that there are already many helpful AI applications that also provide support in everyday office life.
After initial definitions and explanations of terms and an excursion into the history of AI, the focus was specifically on the functionality of a Large Language Model (LLM), such as ChatGPT or Gemini. Both AI applications were presented in detail.
The focus was then on active exploration and trial and error in order to sound out the potential of this technology in the field of assistance using best practices.
The participants were enthusiastic about the new possibilities and gave very positive feedback on the workshop.
A continuation of this round is planned for the autumn in order to practice creating prompts for AI applications.
