AI and no end in sight. New technologies, new developments, new tasks: (Working) life constantly demands new learning and the acquisition of new knowledge. A pilot project now offers the opportunity to complete the free online self-study course “FernUni-KI-Campus@NIRO: KI & Daten in Lebens- und Arbeitswelten”. Our NIRO Academy invites you to this course, which was curated by the FernUniversität in Hagen (FeU) with the FeU-KI-Campus. From October, anyone interested can complete the individual course elements at their own pace and expand their knowledge of AI and data. This all takes place in an interactive Moodle learning environment: around 180 learning elements such as videos, texts and quizzes are available there. The course is divided into three learning paths. So that we don’t lose sight of what we have in common: In two online meetings we offer an exchange of experiences and with a meeting in presence we will reflect on the learning experiences made. The first training session will take place as part of this year’s Digital Week Dortmund.
On September 24, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon, Jessica Felgentreu will introduce us to the concept, content and process of the course in a “preliminary training session”. She works in the KI-Campus 2.0 project at the KI-Campus-Hub NRW of the FernUniversität in Hagen in the Department of Educational Theory and Media Education and has curated the course. Take part and discover the world of online learning on one of the most important topics of our time.
