IBG receives award as world market leader in South Westphalia

Last Monday, SIHK Managing Director Dr. Ralf Geruschkat and CDU Member of Parliament Matthias Eggers visited our member company IBG to ceremoniously present the certificate as “World Market Leader in South Westphalia”.
IBG received the award for its special machinery and plant engineering in the field of automated final vehicle assembly. As a partner to industry, the medium-sized company develops automation solutions and innovative systems for industrial assembly. The customized solutions such as wheel assembly, cockpit assembly, front-end assembly, sunroof assembly and seal application are used worldwide.

The South Westphalian Chambers of Industry and Commerce (IHK) Arnsberg, Hellweg-Sauerland, SIHK zu Hagen and IHK Siegen identify world market leaders among regional companies in order to recognize them for their performance. The decision criteria include depth of added value, top performance in terms of product quality and service, global sales and marketing expertise and customer orientation. As a medium-sized global market leader, IBG is a successful example of global entrepreneurship and technology-driven growth.

A total of around 170 global market leaders are currently based in South Westphalia.
NIRO is delighted with IBG and is proud to have a new “hidden champion” as a member. With IBG, our network now has seven global market leaders in one go, as BJB, BURG, ERCO, Jörg Vogelsang, OBO and SCHMITZ have also already received this award.
