This year is entering the final spurt. The turn of the year is approaching and things are getting a little quieter.
Time to recharge your batteries, look back a little and slowly focus on new things.

We have had another very lively year at NIRO. For many of us, it was certainly also challenging and exhausting. Our economy, our society, our industries, our job: everything is changing, transforming, developing very quickly and keeping pace and finding the right path takes strength every day.
So it’s all the better that we in the network, at least on a small scale, are always using opportunities to learn from each other, work together and try things out.

We covered numerous topics at our events.
A key focus was on individual aspects of artificial intelligence. Our AI trip to members and various workshops on trends, technologies and tools accompanied us throughout the year.Sustainable topics were also included – although current regulation is lagging behind, the topic remains important for our member companies and framework agreement partners. Purchasing topics continue to be a high priority for us in the network.The meetings at NIRO, the personal interaction and the exchange of experiences are particularly valuable overall. This happens in our working groups, such as the newly founded Technical Documentation group, in our peer groups, but also at our events, such as our first Personnel Day, at the summer barbecue, on excursions and visits to companies.
It is also great that we were able to welcome new member companies to the network in 2025 and that the NIRO family has continued to grow.
Our We not only contains strength, knowledge and experience, but also success.

At the beginning of the year, we launched our NIRO app and the redesigned digital purchasing pool to ensure that the exchange is also successful and even better on a digital level. We are delighted that you have moved with us for a second time. This time not to the Port of Dortmund, but to our new digital channels.

Together with you, we have achieved a great deal this year.
Many thanks to everyone who is involved, participates, supports, inspires, tries out new things with us and joins in, whether on site or online.
We will continue in the same vein in 2026, our twentieth year.
