5 questions for Kristin Rademacher and Andrea Herrmann, Managing Directors of L-SHOP-TEAM GmbH
NIRO: Welcome as a new member of the Industrie RuhrOst network!
Your company is now joining our network. What was the main reason for you to become a member of NIRO?
Kristin Rademacher and Andrea Herrmann: We are delighted that L-SHOP-TEAM is now a member of NIRO. We are an owner-managed family business that was founded more than 40 years ago. We still have big plans for L-SHOP-TEAM. This requires experience, expertise and the exchange of ideas with like-minded people. The power of a network is enormous, the exchange on topics, trends and developments as well as the joint achievement of synergy effects is of central importance.
NIRO: Which topics are currently particularly important in your company? What should be discussed in the network? What role does sustainability play at L-SHOP-TEAM GmbH?
Kristin Rademacher and Andrea Herrmann: It goes without saying that sustainability plays an important role in our company. Taking responsibility for the future of our family business, our employees, society and the environment: this is and always has been our task. In times of climate change, corporate due diligence in global supply chains and increasing demand for product transparency and sustainable materials, this task is becoming ever more challenging and far-reaching. As part of our customers’ supply chains, we are aware that we also have a responsibility here. We are rising to the challenge. We want to take responsibility, take a stand and do things well and better.
NIRO: Which products, services or innovations from L-SHOP-TEAM GmbH could also be of interest to other NIRO member companies?
Kristin Rademacher and Andrea Herrmann: What all our customers have in common is that they are textile resellers. Their expertise lies in finishing, printing or embroidery on textiles. In addition to our modern logistics and fast order processing, our expertise lies in offering marketing solutions. We develop marketing solutions for our customers with which they can easily advertise: Solutions that help our customers to advertise to their customers in a targeted manner, address new target groups and competently conduct consultations. Our marketing solutions are the secure bridge while L ‑SHOP‑TEAM remains a reliable and unseen service partner in the background. Regardless of whether our customers need modern e-commerce solutions from our specialists, classic sales support such as catalogs with their own cover, or flyer and newsletter templates and their logo on the delivery bill. We look forward to exchanging ideas with NIRO member companies on solutions of this kind.
NIRO: What current challenges do you see for your company due to increasing digitalization processes and to what extent could being part of NIRO be helpful?
Kristin Rademacher and Andrea Herrmann: Digitization is a big word. But optimizing processes and making them modern and digital often starts with small changes. This requires pragmatic ideas and solutions that suit us well. We can imagine that the network has many clever ideas in store for us.
NIRO: And finally, a bit of wishful thinking: Which event can NIRO plan for you or your team?
Kristin Rademacher and Andrea Herrmann: We are not fixed and are generally very open and curious. We look forward to involving our employees in the NIRO network, enabling them to gain practical training and broaden their horizons.
NIRO: Thank you very much for answering the questions and we look forward to working with you!
